Lake of waterout of land formed by flowing water, with pools of blood leaving said world of water making flying birds... I have definitely got at least part of what I said wrong, and I have never seen this elsewhere. (This shalt be on mine computer)

The first thing that came to mind was "Bloodbirds". Don't know if you're familiar with the doom metal band Agalloch, but this painting would mirror the theme of their album Ashes Against the Grain. Very well done.
